Why is my Elance Account frozen?
Per the Elance Terms of Service, Elance may freeze a service provider's Elance Account based on the following:
If you are a service provider and have not paid a project fee, the project amount and any feedback related to that project will not be counted in your provider profile. If you do not pay the project fee by its due date, your Elance Account will become delinquent (frozen), and you will be unable to submit proposals for projects. To pay your overdue project fees, from the ‘MyElance’ tab above, click the ‘My Account’ > 'Scheduled Trans' link on the left panel. Click on the ‘Pay Now’ link(s) for any overdue project fees.
If you are a service provider and you have not accepted or declined a project award(s) in your ‘Finalizing Terms' list after 15 days, your Elance Account will become delinquent (frozen), and you will be unable to submit proposals for projects. You will still be able to use the private message board (PMB) to continue working on your accepted projects. Click on the ‘MyElance’ tab above, and then click on the ‘Workrooms' > 'Finalizing Terms' link in the left panel. Locate all the projects you have been awarded and yet to take action on. Click on the 'Select Action' > 'Business Terms' link to view the business terms and accept the project, or click the 'Select Action' > 'Decline Job' link to decline the job.
