Why is my Elance Account expired?
When you try to log in to MyElance and you see an error message stating 'Your Elance account has been expired,' it may have been expired due to one of these scenarios:
1. Our system received a number of 'undeliverable' email bouncebacks from your registered email address, so it temporarily disabled your account.
Perhaps your Internet Service Provider's (ISP) mail server blocked some email from: '...@elance.com' or '...@elanceonline.com' as SPAM.
Click on the above 'Contact Us' link with your registered email address and the username you are trying to access. If your registered email address is no longer in use, include your old email address in your note, as well as the last 5 digits of the credit card you used to register your Elance username account.
2. The Elance Dispute Assistance Team emailed you at your registered email address, and received no response within 48 hours of their inquiry. They will suspend your account until you contact them. Check your email inbox for messages from the Elance Dispute Assistance Team and reply to them.
3. Our Billing & Payment Team emailed you at your registered email address regarding non-payment to your service provider and received no response. They will suspend your account until you contact them. Check your email inbox for messages from Elance Billing & Payment and reply to them.
4. Our Policy Team was notified of a possible Policy Violation and emailed you at your registered email address. Check your email inbox for messages from the Elance Policy Team and reply to them.
