What payment methods can be used to pay for a provider membership?

To pay for your monthly membership fees, you can use a credit card, PayPal or funds in your Elance account.

Credit card:  You may add a credit card to your Elance account at any time to pay for your monthly membership fees or purchase additional Connects.

PayPal:  If you have a PayPal account, you may add it to your Elance account at any time to pay for your monthly membership fees or purchase additional Connects.

Elance account:   If you have a balance in your Elance account, you may use this balance to pay for their monthly membership fees or purchase additional Connects.   You can fund your Elance either by check or ACH transfer for U.S. elancers or by wire transfer or non-U.S. elancers.

To set which payment you want to automatically use for your monthly membership renewal:

1. Log in to the MyElance Main Menu.

If you are not logged in, enter your Elance username and password.

2. Click the ‘My Account’ > 'Account Details' link on the left panel.

3. Under your 'Default Payment Account' section, select an account from the pull down menu and click on the 'Set Default' button next to the payment method you want to use now.
